Questions

Everythingyou'd want to know

Yes, and here's why guests come back every year. A Day Guest ticket includes full grounds access, a buffet lunch from the Grantley Hall kitchens, all live music, every stage presentation, and the Exhibitors' Village. Comparable concours events at Hampton Court or Salon Privé charge significantly more for less hands-on access. The VIP and Grantley Suite tiers add a private enclosure, gourmet lunch with wine, and a terrace overlooking the main stage, a level of hospitality usually reserved for invited guests at events of this calibre. With 2025 sold out and most VIP tiers selling out in advance, the value speaks for itself.
Gates open at 10:00. Tea and coffee on arrival for Day Guests; VIP guests are received with a glass of sparkling wine. Then time to explore over 50 concours cars at your own pace. Live saxophone & DJ from 10:30. Stage presentations begin at 11:30, Maserati Centenary on Day One (15 July), Mercedes-Benz 100 on Day Two (16 July). Lunch from 13:00 (buffet, gourmet enclosure, or three-course in the suite, depending on your ticket). Afternoon brings the parades, the Best Engine Vocal competition, and the Owners' Club Trophy. Day closes at 17:30, VIPs continue until 18:30. See the full timeline above.
The event runs regardless of weather. The Orchard marquee and Grantley Suite are fully covered, and the VIP enclosure has covered seating with a private bar. Day guests can also shelter from the sun or the rain under a new 30m marquee structure with plenty of seating for their buffet lunch. We have plenty of indoor space to retreat into if the weather decides to be British. We've had glorious sunshine four years running, but we plan for the worst.
Not at all. Yorkshire Elegance is a lifestyle event, the cars are the canvas, but the day is built around the food, the music, the setting, and the company. About a third of our guests come without much technical interest in cars; they come for the garden party at one of the UK's finest hotels. Our presentations are deliberately accessible, they tell stories rather than recite spec sheets.
We'd advise against it. 2025 sold out across all tiers, and the Grantley Suite VIP was nearly sold out months in advance. Capacity is fixed by the venue, we can't add more tickets, and tickets are more expensive on the day than in advance, where availability allows. If you're considering coming, the safest option is to book your tier now.
Tickets are non-refundable but fully transferable up to 14 days before the event. If your plans change, you can pass your ticket to a guest of your choosing, just contact us with their details and we'll update the registration.
Free parking is included with every ticket. Dress code is smart casual "garden-party attire", think summer dresses, blazers, smart trousers. Comfortable shoes are advised; the lawns are extensive. Wednesday is Ladies Day, so posh frocks & fancy hats. The optional Finale Dinner is also smart casual.
If you would like to enter, Concours d'Elegance entries are accepted in advance via the Yorkshire Elegance website. Cars are categorised across six age brackets spanning 140 years of motoring history, plus a Resto-Mod class. There is no additional charge to enter the Concours. Owners simply have to buy tickets for both show days of the event. If you have a special car worthy of being put on special display, please email us at info@thefastlaneclub.com.
Children aged 8, 16 are welcome at £69 per child and must be accompanied by a paying adult. Younger children are not permitted to ensure the atmosphere remains relaxed for all guests. Children also judge the popular "Best Engine Vocal" competition each afternoon as part of the Yorkshire Children's Charity programme.
